What does it mean to work hard?

February 22, 2026

The answer is obvious isn't it?

Additional time spent brushing up, practicing until the motions feel light as a feather. Concentrating your brain's digestive system to absorb that CORS is not a brand of beer and SameSite cookies do not contain chocolate chips. At the end of the day, what is this all for? The crack of dawn track workout or chilly miles thats got your nose running. How will this make me better? In what ways will this detail make me smarter, more knowledgable, or even skilled?

Hell what is "better"?

More questions than answers. Perhaps there are only a few answers and principles. You can't get anywhere without hardwork. Reward comes after hardwork. All the pretty, shiny, and big accomplishments are hard, simply put. Yet somehow, the truth doesn't feel enough. Surely, all that work will mean something right? Else, why do it in the first place.

Life without work is purposeless. Work without purpose is... well, I don't quite know yet.
